Leagues
Handicapped scoring, which means you shoot against your own average, not against the best archer in the room.
The most common reason people give for not joining a league is that they are not good enough yet. Nobody who says that has ever been to one.
You show up, you warm up, you shoot your ends, you write down your score, and you go home. About ninety minutes. The rest is people talking between ends, which is arguably the actual event.
Your first nights set your average. From then on, somebody who shoots 240 and improves to 255 beats somebody who shoots 290 and stays there. The person who gets better wins, which is why nobody is watching your arrows.

Forming now
Handicapped scoring so a first-timer can shoot next to somebody who has been at it thirty years. Call for the current night and start date.
Forming now
For kids who came out of camp and want to keep going. Coaching built in, not just scoring.
Dates move with the season and with what the range can hold. The calendar has the current picture, and (201) 843-7788 has the honest one.
Youth
Two lines only, five o’clock or six. Eight weeks. From age seven. Same structure as the adult league, shorter attention span, considerably more noise.
Parents sit on the bench. Parents do not coach from the bench. We will remind you about this kindly, once, every season.
What you need
League is the point where owning a bow starts to make sense. Talk to us first and we will fit you properly rather than have you borrow something that does not suit.
Six is comfortable. Enough that one bad end does not end your night.
Range rule, every night, no exceptions.
Enough to get a lane assignment, a scorecard, and the ninety-second explanation of how this particular league scores.
Join a league
Send this and we will get back to you with the current season dates, the price, and whether there is room. If a season is full we will put you at the top of the next one.

Talk to a pro
Take a lesson or two first. Handicapped scoring means you will not embarrass yourself either way, but a couple of hours with an instructor makes the first night more fun.
